We want you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, so this is most important! For a guide, we'll be wearing formal attire. If the weather is nice we hope to be outside for some photos after our ceremony. We will provide as many high heel covers as we can for anyone who might be worried about sinking into the grass!

Plus ones/children
Answer
We kindly request that only those named on your invite attend with you. As we are having a small wedding, we have limited space. We have accounted for everyone we know might be bringing children or a plus one in the guest list (anyone listed in your RSVP). However, once we receive final RSVP numbers we might be able to accommodate additional guests. If you would like to bring someone else who is not already invited, please let us know their name, age and any dietary restrictions in your RSVP and we'll let you know if we can add them.

Parking

The venue has two car parks onsite which will be free for you to use. Please note that whilst the venue is privately hired to us, it is on the grounds of a public park so spaces could fill up quickly. Please arrive in good time if you wish to secure a parking spot.

Allergies & dietary restrictions
Answer
Please let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions in your RSVP, and we will make sure you get a meal tailored to you. There will be a set meal for the wedding breakfast and a buffet with lots to choose from at the reception.

Our venue, Whirlow Brook Hall is completely cashless so will only accept card payments at the bar.

Having you with us for our special day is your present to us. But, if you'd like to give a gift to help us on our way, a small contribution to our first home fund would really make our day!

The venue

Please see the Accommodation tab for details on where to stay nearby. Sheffield has lots of Ubers available and we also use Veezu. You can pre-book using both. As the hall is set on the grounds of a public park, please note that the entrance at the main road is about a 10 minute walk up a slight hill away from the hall itself. We'd recommend you request to be dropped off in one of the car parks in the grounds if this might be difficult for you.

Arriving Early (Food & Drinks)

The hall is privately hired to us and does not have a hotel. Due to the layout this also means food and drink won't be available at the hall until the times shared in the schedule of the day section. If you arrive early , there is a cafe located on the grounds called The Shelter , which you can find out more about here: https://thesheltercafe.co.uk/ Just to note this is not affiliated with our wedding in any way and could be busy with other members of the public. Don't worry as we'll have lots of food and drinks following the ceremony!
