ATTIRE: SUNSET SOIRÉE
Please join us in celebrating our wedding weekend with an Aperol Spritz at Hotel Giotto. Ladies, come dressed in attire that reflects the beautiful hues of an Umbrian sunset. Think dresses in shades of apricot, orange, rose, yellow or pink. You could also reach for joyful prints, romantic ruffles and shimmering details for an elevated statement that will take you from day to night. Any length is welcome, as long as you feel radiant and sunset-inspired! Please avoid wearing flip flops and dark colours. We want you standing out and not overheating! Gentlemen are welcome to wear sharp yet comfortable looks such as light suits or linen shirt with tailored trouser to compliment the ladies or if you have your own sunset colours feel free to show them off. Please also avoid wearing dark colours, t-shirts, shorts and any open toe shoes.
3:30 pm
ATTIRE: REGAL GARDEN PARTY
We’re thrilled to have you join us for this special celebration! To help set the tone for an elegant and festive evening, we have set a "Regal Garden Party" dress code. Ladies: We advise evening floor-length gowns in soft pastels, jewel tones or rich metallics. Think floral, feather or lace details that evoke the beauty of a garden setting. Gents: While a tuxedo is always a timeless choice, you can also opt for a well-tailored suit with a formal shirt and tie or bow tie. What to avoid: Heavy fabrics like velvet or wool. Instead opt for materials like linen, cotton or lightweight wool blends. The ceremony will be on grass, please avoid stilettos. Wedges or block heels are a great alternative. We also ask you to refrain from wearing jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, or sandals and to avoid any neon colours that might clash with the natural setting. To allow the wedding party to stand out we ask the guys to avoid wearing navy or beige suits and for the ladies please avoid sage green.
2:00 pm - 9:00 pm
ATTIRE: VINTAGE ITALIAN SUMMER
Following the wedding, we know (& hope) everyone including us will be a little worse for wear. For this reason, what better way to continue the celebrations than sitting by the pool with a homemade wood-fired pizza in one hand and an Aperol Spritz in the other? The theme is Vintage Italian Summer, think retro with big sunglasses and hats, head scarves, stripes and gingham print. There is no strict dress code, but we would love for everyone to join in the fun with their best vintage poolside looks. Inspiration can be found in the gallery section of the site. Now that we've taken the plunge, why don't you join us?
