After identifying professionalism, innovativeness, and culinary excellence gaps within the catering industry, CEO Stephen Hamilton founded Eskay Catering in 2012 to revolutionize the field. Since then, Eskay Catering has become the preferred caterer for several esteemed clients, including the Brazilian Embassy, Fontana Pharmacy, BMW, and popular media personalities such as international artist Ne-Yo. The company prides itself on providing world-class food and services. Today, Eskay Catering has grown from a team of three to approximately 114 dedicated employees. The company was a proud sponsor of Miss Jamaica Universe 2015, whose contestant sponsored by Eskay, won the competition. During Jamaica’s independence celebration in August, Chef Hamilton represented the country as a Culinary Ambassador at the Google building in New York, catering to over 3,000 guests. Eskay Catering is also a significant player in the wedding industry, securing the title of 2nd runner-up for Caribbean Caterer of the Year at the Caribbean Wedding Industry Awards. To date, the company has catered to over 336 weddings. Chef Hamilton’s expertise extends beyond Eskay Catering. He was the former consultant for Tastee Limited, overseeing all fifty locations islandwide. He has also consulted for Geddes Grant, GDI Distribution Ltd., and created content for Cals Manufacturing, Omnia Sky Lounge, Exit 21, BrewdAwakening Cafe, Springdale Products, and the Jamaica Tourism Board. Expanding its horizons, Eskay Catering has evolved into Eskay Catering Limited, offering a diverse range of services under one umbrella: catering, bar service, hotel development, wedding planning, decor, food and beverage consultation, taxi services, haulage, and branded coconuts.
