Gorgeous place to go take photos and admire the beautiful architecture
Sutro Baths & Lands End Trail
Great views of the ocean over the ruins of an old bath house. Close by is the Lands End Trail for an easy hike with views of the Golden Gate Bridge. This photo is from our first time there together in 2019, when Rachel flew out for an interview and Owen was in Reno for his internship with Tesla.
Ferry Building
Historic building with a marketplace with a great variety of unique stores! We personally love the empanadas from El Porteño Empanadas. You can get chocolate, ice cream, gluten free baked goods, and coffee from the surrounding shops!
Presidio Tunnel Tops
Our wedding is located in the Presidio, but would definitely recommend exploring the area before the ceremony or on another day. There are food trucks daily at Main Parade Lawn. You can get great views of the Golden Gate Bridge from Tunnel Tops park.
Lombard Street
Famous crooked street, would recommend driving down it for the best experience!
PIER 39
A fun touristy area with lots shops and viewing decks of sea lions! Depending on the season and the day, there might be hundreds of sea lions around! They have a viewing cam you can check before going.
Mission Dolores Park
Great park to relax and have a picnic! There are some cafes and coffeeshops close by to pick up food. (Ex. Dolores Park Cafe, Fayes, Tartine Bakery, etc.)
Twin Peaks
The 2nd highest point of the San Francisco with almost 360 degree views of the city and the Bay. Can be a little windy so make sure to bring a jacket!
The Painted Ladies
Iconic views of the famous Victorian homes of SF with Downtown in the backdrop
Golden Gate Park
Beautiful park to walk or ride bikes through. Make sure to check out the Bison Paddocks!
Alcatraz Island
Take a ferry to tour Alcatraz and learn all about it's history
Battery Spencer
Great view of the Golden Gate Bridge!
Vista Point
Another great view of the Golden Gate Bridge
