We're Getting Married

In 2018, fate brought Owen and Madelyn together during a trip to New York City. On June 23rd of that year, Owen asked Madelyn out on a date, marking the beginning of their journey together. Their first evening was spent at a cozy Italian restaurant followed by a Marvel movie, a perfect mix of delicious food and shared excitement. However, after five months, they parted ways, each embarking on their own paths of growth and self-discovery. Despite the distance, the love between them never faded—Owen and Madelyn never stopped thinking about each other. Three years later, in 2021, Madelyn reached out to Owen, and the spark between them reignited as if no time had passed. It was as if their hearts had always known the other was meant to be. At the time, Madelyn was finishing her nursing degree at college in Davenport, IA, and Owen was working at TRS back in Freeport, IL. In a bold move, Owen decided to relocate to Moline, IL, and bought his first house to be closer to Madelyn. Madelyn graduated with her nursing degree, and Owen proudly cheered the loudest in the room. Though Madelyn had to travel back and forth between Moline and Freeport, they made every moment count. Then, on December 2nd, 2024, on a dock in Moline, IL, Owen got down on one knee, marking the next beautiful chapter in their love story. The last three years have been the best of their lives, filled with simple joys—movie dates with a shared love for popcorn, margarita nights at their favorite local Mexican restaurant, slow dancing together in the living room, and unforgettable trips exploring the world side by side. Their bond is a testament to love's resilience and the magic of second chances.
