Owen's version: I was walking into class - it was Bible 110 New Testament with Dr. Love. And I saw this girl on crutches hobbling past me and I looked at her and said, "Oh, that sucks." Then I went on to look for a couple of my buddies to sit next to however, none of them were there so I saw this beautiful girl who I had just passed on crutches, sitting by herself in the back of the class, so I went and sat down next to her. This beautiful girl happened to be Elizabeth, if you haven't figured that out by now. So, rather than paying attention I decided I was going to talk to this girl. We went on to go on a few "study dates" and the rest is history. Elizabeth's version: I remember going to class, I believe it was a morning class, and I was in a foul mood. I was trying to make my way to my seat when I bumped into this guy (I bumped into a lot of people being on crutches at the time) and all he said to me was "Oh, haha, that sucks." Not 'excuse me' or 'sorry' or anything else that you would usually say to someone in that situation. Anyway, it irritated me further but I went and took a seat and tried to forget about it. This man however, decided to sit right next to me which just made me even more mad. I really did not want to talk to anyone that day but I especially did not want to talk to the guy who made a 'sarcastic' (as he likes to call them) comment about my unfortunate predicament. But the more I talked to him as the class went on the more he started to grow on me. Whether it was his looks, his humor, or something else, I decided to pursue a friendship with him and well... now we're here!
