Opened in 1995, this phenomenal coffee shop is a landmark in Huntington and is connected to the historic Keith Albee Theatre. The Old Village Roaster roasts all their own beans and has (in Owen's honest opinion) the best coffee in Huntington. Oh, it also is one of the best smelling places in the world. Plus, they're season sponsors of Alchemy Theatre! Stop in for a cup of coffee!
Central City @ 14 St W is a commercial district on 14th Street West that includes quaint antique shops, the Central City Gazebo, and The Wild Ramp, a year-round market that focuses on selling locally-produced food and gifts. Cindy loves the coffee at Cicada Books!
Looking for a nice place to walk and enjoy the weather? Ritter Park is stretches along Huntington's South Side neighborhood and is a great place for a stroll! You may even see a Great Blue Heron or one of the families of muskrats that live along Four Pole Creek!
If you're down for a short drive, head up Route 2 for about 45 minutes to the home of the Mothman, West Virginia's favorite and most famous cryptid! This museum offers bus tours from locals who were around during the sightings and even takes you to the TNT manufacturing area complete with abandoned bunkers!
