Caelli and Owen’s story began with a simple swipe on Hinge. Ever since that first date, they’ve been inseparable. November 4th, 2024, was the day they both realized this could be something special. Their first date was at the gym of all places, Caelli had a great community of friends she loved working out with and wanted to share this with Owen. Owen, on the other hand, hoped to impress her by keeping up in the workout. From that moment on, fitness and friends became a foundation for their connection and growth together. Since then, they’ve had numerous adventures. In their first year together, they traveled to Utah and California to meet family and friends. Both started new jobs as life became clearer with each other in it. On their first camping trip together, they camped in Stanley, where they fell more in love with each other, but also with the mountains, the lake, and the memories they created there. It only felt right to return to that special place to begin their next chapter. In year two, they went international, spending three weeks exploring Europe, learning more about what it means to experience life as a team. That same year, after months of planning, Owen proposed to Caelli on a beautiful day in Washington, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Ensuring that a photographer was there, capturing the moment forever, just like Caelli had always pictured. Together, they love skiing, camping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family, along with plenty of reality TV nights in between. They wish everyone who was there when it began could still be present today, as this relationship is a testament to the amazing people on both sides of their families who helped shape who they are. They will be married at Redfish Lake on August 14th in an intimate ceremony, followed by a celebration the next day with all their favorite people.
