We met our freshman year of high school! Our friends, during this time, were twins so we ended up hearing about each other a lot. Then in March of 2019, we went to FBLA State and we chatted a bit. I, Alexia, saw him buy a $50 gallon of ice cream at Ben and Jerry's and asked him, "Are you silly?" After that day, we would chat on and off through the years. I had already started crushing on him and would always find myself enjoying his company. Then COVID-19 hit. We ended up connecting on Zoom during our math class. Mrs. Joiner had no idea she was the main reason we started dating. Through the years, we had gone through loving memories, proms, and dates. Then one day, we found out we were pregnant to our sweet and precious baby girl! Owen proposed that following July 2023 at the Kentucky Ren Faire. We love a good Ren Faire and have gone to many more since with Emilia to show her how magical a place can be. We cannot wait to share such a beautiful day with our friends and family.
