When and where is the wedding?

The celebration will take place in Morgantown, West Virginia on Saturday May 9th, 2026. It will be held at White Oak 1838. More details about our venue can be found at the link https://www.whiteoak1838.com/

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal / cocktail attire. Think polished, fun, and wedding-appropriate—not black-tie, not backyard BBQ. Dresses, suits, sport coats, jumpsuits—yes. Jeans, shorts, flip-flops— nah.

Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love your little humans, this will be a no-children wedding. Consider this our gift to you: an evening of adult conversation, adult beverages, and no one asking for an iPad charger.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, with the reception immediately following at the same venue indoors. Mother Nature has been notified and is currently “tentatively confirmed.”

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Absolutely. There will be drinks, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, drinks, and dancing, in that order… and then probably dancing again. Dietary restrictions can be noted when you RSVP as we will have vegetarian and pescatarian options available.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! Hotel information and room blocks will be listed in the travel section of the website. Morgantown is excited to host you.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will have shuttles to and from the venue for guests staying at the Cranberry Hotel. Additional hotel pick ups may be added depending on the amount of guests at other hotels. More details coming soon, but we promise not to strand you. Uber's and Lyft's are usually very easy to order. If you prefer to drive we will have plenty parking available at White Oak.
