What should I wear?

We're going for formal attire and would love to see everyone dressed up for the occasion - think suits, cocktail dresses, or gowns. We kindly ask that you skip jeans and super casual outfits so we can keep the look of the day feeling a little extra special. If you're unsure, leaning dressy is always a great choice!

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, we've chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, unwind, and enjoy a fun night out with us. Thank you so much for understanding - we truly appreciate it!

Is the wedding unplugged?

Answer

Yes - our ceremony will be an unplugged moment, so we kindly ask that you put away your phones and cameras during this time. We've hired a photographer to capture everything, and we'd love for your to be fully present with us as we say "I do." Feel free to snap and share photos once the ceremony is over using the hashtag #ShippHappens ;)

What about the weather?

Answer

Our wedding is in January and Texas weather during this time can be a bit unpredictable. Our venue offers both outdoor and indoor spaces, so we're planning to hold the ceremony outside if conditions are comfortable. If it turns out to be too cold, we'll move everything indoors so everyone can stay warm and enjoy the moment. We recommend bringing a coat or layers just in case - comfort is key!
