FAQs

The Wedding Website of Amanda Silva and Alberto Luna
Question

Can I bring a guest who is not noted on my invitation?

Answer

If you received a plus one, this will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself and your guest. Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We adore all of your kiddos! However, due to limited space, we can only accommodate children that are formally invited in your wedding invitation. We respectfully request that you only bring children that are included on your invitation. We ask that you please limit the amount of running around and horse play, specifically during the ceremony.

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! Please indicate this on your RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. If it is close to the wedding date, please email our wedding coordinator.

Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

Seguin, Texas during December is normally around 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and can get as low as 50 degree Fahrenheit at nighttime.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We want everyone dressed in their best for our special day. We request a semi-formal, cocktail attire for our wedding. For ladies, a dress/pants to the knee to floor length. For gentlemen, dress slacks, collared shirt, with or without blazer or suit. You can wear any color you like, but we kindly request that you do not wear white or any similar color.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception are at Harper Hill Ranch. Our ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, and our reception will be indoors.

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is ample free parking at the venue. There will be parking attendants present to assist with parking.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30PM CST. If you are late, there is no guarantee we can let you in once the ceremony has begun. We recommend you arrive early enough to ensure ample time to park and get seated prior to the ceremony beginning.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We invite you to be fully present during our ceremony and ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture this special day. We'd hate to have a well-intentioned person's phone or device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we can!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The bride and groom will take pictures together and with close family. You will get to enjoy drinks and snacks at cocktail hour and the reception will follow at 6:30PM CST.

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is a present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table at the entrance of the venue for your convenience. You can see our registry by visiting the Registry tab.

Question

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premises. There will be security onsite. We ask you to drink responsibly and in measure. Please do not drink and drive and have a plan in place whether that is a designated driver, an Uber or Lyft. ** We have rented a shuttle bus to get guests to and from local hotels. More info to follow!**

Question

Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post photos on their social media. Our only request is that you tag us and include our wedding hashtag, #overthelunainlove, so we can keep track of the pictures.
