Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar
This is our favorite place to take out of town guests. You can sit outside and watch the water while you enjoy some fresh seafood!
The Macintosh
Max's brother Zach works here and we love to visit him. Their food is unique and an experience you won't want to leave Charleston without trying.
Pineapple Fountain
This is where Max proposed to Emily. It's a wonderful place to walk around a see the Charleston Harbor. It is right next to Fleet Landing.
Rainbow Row
Rainbow Row is on the scenic route we love to take our guests on when they come into town. It is a road of beautiful houses in downtown Charleston.
Blind Tiger Pub
This is Max's favorite bar in Charleston. It's around the corner from Rainbow Row and down the street form the Pineapple Fountain. It is a great pit stop to get some wonderful drinks when you are walking around Broad Street on a sunny day.
Marion Square
Marion square is a beautiful park in the middle of downtown. The best part about it is on Saturday mornings you can go to the local farmers market and get some delicious food, fresh produce, or beauty products made locally in Charleston.
Historic Charleston City Market
The Historical Market is a great p[lace to get all things Charleston. It is opened daily and has some amazing local artists and vendors.
King Street
King Street is a great place for everyone. During the day it is one of the best places to go shopping in all of Charleston. At night it is where most everyone goes out to have drinks. Some of our favorite bars include; Uptown Social, Ink N Ivy, The Dispensary, Prohibition, and Stars. Emily really wants to go to Deco if anyone would like to go with her
The Battery
The Battery is our first stop on the tour we give our guests. It is a beautiful walk along the Charleston Harbor looking out towards the ocean. From here we go to the Pineapple Fountain or The Blind Tiger.
Fort Sumter National Monument
Fort Sumter is one of if not the most important historical landmark in Charleston. It was the location where the first shots were fired in the American Civil War.
Ghost City Tours
If you would like to get spooked, it is said the sidewalks are so bumpy from the dead trying to rise up. Check out any of the local ghost tours downtown to learn more. Be careful about twisting your ankle.
Shem Creek
Shem Creek is a great strip of restaurants to get awesome drink and food deals while watching the sun set. They have live music regularly and make sure you keep an eye out for dolphins in the creek.
Folly Beach
Folly Beach is the closest beach to our apartment. It is a beautiful family beach with a great little strip of restaurants and bars.
Isle of Palms Beach
Isle of Palms beach is the beach located closer to Dunes West. It is another wonderful family friendly beach.
Edison James Island
Edison is a wonderful spot we love to go for brunch. It is run by an amazing married couple and has great food and drinks.
Black Magic Cafe
Black Magic cafe is one of our favorite breakfast spots. It is run by an eclectic staff and is very bright and colorful. The food is phenomenal.
James Island County Park
This is Ash's favorite place to run and swim with her friends. Don't worry, they plenty of out door activities for people to do.
Low Tide Brewing
