RSVPs are due by July 26, 2025.
Our Nuptial Mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, 145 Barr Street, Lexington. Our reception will be held at Fasig-Tipton, 2400 Newtown Pike, Lexington.
Street parking for St. Peter Catholic Church is available on Barr, Pleasant Stone, and surrounding downtown streets. There are also two small lots behind the church on Pleasant Stone Street. A parking garage is available nearby at Chase Tower at 201 East Main Street. We encourage our guests to allow ample time to find parking so that you can enter the church approximately thirty minutes before the ceremony. Fasig-Tipton offers a large parking lot in front of the venue to easily accommodate all of our guests. Vehicles may be left overnight but must be collected Sunday, August 17th between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
St. Peter Catholic Church is located in the heart of downtown Lexington, near Chase Bank Tower and the Robert F. Stephens Courthouse. Barr Street is located between N. Limestone Street and N. Martin Luther King Boulevard. Fasig-Tipton is located on Newtown Pike, just off of I-64. If coming from downtown, Fasig-Tipton will be on your right past the Interstate.
Yes, we have reserved two hotel blocks for the weekend of our wedding. Information on both options are available under the 'Travel' tab on this website. Lexington boasts a number of fantastic hotels and short-term rentals, and we recommend that you also consider Marriott Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa near Fasig-Tipton for your stay.
Because our venues offer ample parking for our guests, there will be no shuttle service provided. Both Uber and Lyft are readily available in Lexington, and we encourage their usage after the reception.
We ask that our guests don summer evening cocktail attire for all wedding events. For men, this generally includes a suit with dress shirt (tie optional); while women may opt for a dress of knee-, tea-, or midi-length, a tailored pantsuit, or chic separates. For reference and inspiration, we have included a vision board of potential outfit choices for both men and women at the bottom of the 'Gallery' page on this website. We encourage you to be mindful of both typical August weather in Central Kentucky and the sacred nature of our Nuptial Mass when making your selections.
August is one of Kentucky's driest months, and also one of its hottest. We anticipate a high of 85 degrees and a low of 69 degrees, with an 8:30pm sunset.
We are blessed to be surrounded by family and friends from multiple faith traditions during our wedding. Please be advised that our marriage will take place during a full Mass service and will likely last at least an hour. The program will include the Liturgy of the Word (readings from Scripture), the Rite of Marriage, and the Liturgy of the Eucharist (Holy Communion). Our priest will guide the congregation every step of the way. You will notice that at various points throughout the Mass, the congregation will sit, stand, or kneel. Please feel free to follow the crowd, or remain seated as you feel comfortable. During Holy Communion, our non-Catholic guests are welcome to either remain in their seats or approach the priest with arms crossed over their chests to receive a blessing. Please be mindful to practice reverence and turn off your cell phones throughout the ceremony. We look so forward to sharing this Sacrament of Faith with you.
All invitees, including guests and children, are specifically listed on your mailed invitation. Due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate anyone beyond those particularly invited.
Yes. Space has been provided on our RSVP forms for guests to list food allergies and restrictions.
We appreciate your support on our big day, and no gifts are required or expected in order to attend. For those who wish to give a gift, we have registered with a variety of retailers which are available on the 'Registry' tab on this website.
All events are listed with times and locations on the 'Schedule' and 'RSVP' tabs on this website.
Because our wedding will occur within a Catholic Mass, we ask that you refrain from taking photos or video during the ceremony. You are welcome to take photos and video during the reception, although we encourage our guests to stay present in the moment and simply enjoy the festivities, as multiple professional photographers will be capturing the evening's events.
