What is the dress code?

Help us bring a little wedding tradition to life! We'd love all of our guests to wear a shade of blue to be our "something blue." Any shade works - just come ready to celebrate!

What time should I arrive at the chapel?
Answer
We recommend arriving at the chapel by 5:45 am. This will provide ample time for the mountain drive and ensuring you're comfortably seated before the ceremony begins.

Will there be a reception afterwards?
Answer
Yes, a reception will follow! It is located at the Gaines Lodge at Table Rock State Park. Since there is a 4-hour break between the ceremony and reception, feel free to relax, explore the area, take a nap, or get ready for the party!

Where is everyone staying?
Answer
We know many of you will be traveling for our wedding, and we are so grateful you're making the trip! Most guests are booking Airbnbs in Cleveland, South Carolina, which is the closest area to the chapel. There is also some nearby hotels if you prefer that option. Please check the "Travel" tab for nearby hotel information. You can use the Airbnb map feature to see how far each rental is from the chapel and find something that works best for your group. Since our wedding is on a Wednesday at 6am, we recommend arriving by Tuesday at the latest to get settled and enjoy the area before the celebration!

How should I RSVP?

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by April 1st so we can plan accordingly!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We have hired a wonderful professional photographer to capture our "I Do's" so we have opted for an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you keep all devices tucked away and stay fully present with us as we exchange our vows. Don't worry though - we will have plenty of time for photos together afterwards!

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast.
