Sure! Quick facts: -Wedding event dates are January 14th-January 17th, with the wedding on Friday January 15th. -A 3 night continuous stay is required per the contract that we have with the hotel. The booking link will take care of it for you. -We want to have an intimate weekend with our favorite people. We want this to not only be a wedding, but a vacation for our guests. -While we love your children, we are opting to have no kids at the wedding. We want everyone to be able to let loose and have a great time. We have select rooms that allow kids to come for the weekend, but childcare will have to be found for the wedding night. The hotel does provide some services in this regard, let us know if you need this!
It will be nice and sunny while we are there in January. From personal experience, here is what we can suggest: -Bring sunscreen. Buying it at the hotel comes at a high premium. -Some cash for tips is nice. The staff is extremely kind and professional, but a little extra cheddar goes a long way to ensuring that drink is always topped off. -Bringing your favorite tumbler/glass isn't a bad idea. They will fill those directly and it ensures we prevent waste and that you get a nice cold beverage for the day. -When you check in, you will first be handed off to someone with the 'concierge' desk. These people have a specific task to try and get you to attend a 'learning session' about their vacation package. They will offer you discounted services like massages to attend a morning breakfast. You can do what you want, but we recommend that you kindly, but firmly, decline their invitation. Feel free to use wedding events as an excuse :D. Once you get past it the first time, they don't pester you anymore.

Absolutely! When you go to book your room, you can book up to 7 nights for the same rate! We personally intend to stay longer, and we would love to have you with us!
No! Please do not do this. We have a specific contract with the hotel that requires we book a certain number of rooms/nights. If you book outside of the block it will not count towards our contract and we could be on the hook for extra payments.
In general, the basic room is the Junior Suite Ocean View King in the Secrets Resort. Some of our guests (aka the party people) have been invited to stay in the Preferred room section and should have instructions with their invite. The rooms at the Dreams Resort are reserved special for some of our family that will be bringing their children to the resort (but not the wedding). Those people know who they are :).
We can't tell you what to do, but we would greatly appreciate it if you didn't. You will be required to pay for day passes to the hotel/resorts, we will have to pay extra for your meal, and it will be logistically difficult. Our goal with this wedding is to not only spend one great night with you, but a weekend of fun and togetherness. We ask that you respect our wishes for the weekend and book through our block.
