The Sandbar is one of the most popular destinations for locals who have access to a boat on the weekend. With shallow warm waters, a beautiful reef, and with how close it is it makes for the perfect destination for a group of friends on a hot day. Emily was paddle boarding when Chris climbed out of the boat, she was confused but this was Chris, he does things his own way and she was guessing he wanted to talk to her. Grabbing the board he kept fumbling with something in his hand and she was having a difficult time trying to keep the board near the boat in the choppy water. Kneeling (or attempting to kneel) in the shallow water Chris proposed and the rest is history!
