Where is Beech Mountain?

Beech Mountain is located 2.5 hours northwest of Charlotte, North Carolina and 2 hours northeast of Asheville. Beech Mountain is Eastern America's highest town. The mountain is known for its breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as great downhill mountain biking in the summer and skiing in the winter months.
