Scott and Molly first met on Jdate where they spent the first few weeks messaging each other. Their first date was at Bahama Breeze. A few dates later, Molly decided that she needed to focus on graduate school before getting into a serious relationship. The two remained friends and talked every day for the next five years. About four years into their friendship Scott moved closer. This provided the opportunity for them to see each other more and develop an even closer friendship. The clinching moment that brought the two together was Molly asking Scott to accompany her on a road trip to pick out her puppy, Winston in Maryland (a five hour drive). On that trip they realized that maybe there was more than just friendship. From there their relationship grew and on one fateful day after going to the movies, Scott planted one on Molly! This was the beginning of a beautiful journey.

Scott had been secretly planning the proposal for several months. He knew that in order to surprise his bride-to-be he would need to do it on a very random evening. He let himself into her apartment on a Thursday evening where he decorated the living room with balloons that said Mr & Mrs and got her favorite flowers (lilies). When Molly got home, Winston was oddly excited to get into the door. When the door opened she noticed Scott and immediately knew what was happening. Scott called her over to a particular spot in the living room where he got down on one knee and asked Molly to marry him. She of course said Yes! Then much to Molly's surprise when she turned around she realized her two best friends, Erin and Ken, were there to capture the moment.
