Onyinyeh & Ifeanyi’s love story was definitely “No Ordinary Love.” Although, their story began in Aba in Abia State Nigeria, they were destined to meet long before Onyinyeh made the decision to travel back home. This is their story as told by Onyinyeh: In March 2018, I took a one-year ”sabbatical” to Enugu Nigeria to start a nonprofit organization called, Project A.N.G.E.L.S. During my trip to Nigeria, I was able to reunite with my eldest and immediate younger brothers. My brother Chuwkdi had moved back to Nigeria in 2016 and since had traveled to Aba several times before my arrival to Nigeria. In April 2018, one of our cousins invited my brother and I to come to Aba to visit him there. Since I had never been to Aba, I decided it would be a fun trip to take with my brother, at least to see our cousin. We stayed in Aba for 3 days and during those three days, our cousin took us to a place called “Black Kingdom” or BK. That was when my cousin introduced me to all of his friends, at the time I was not aware that my brother already knew most of them. Apparently, one of those friends he introduced us too was “Benzizi Benzito,” so he was called by hos friends. As it was, Ifeanyi was actually already a friend of the family, a passionate activist for Biafra, and had an amazing smile to go with that confident demeanor of his. He may not know this, but it was when he handed me that beautiful ‘flower’ that I knew “he saw me, for me” and thus began OUR-IBO love story.
