When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you are reasonably aware that you definitely can or cannot attend. Invitations were sent out fairly early in order to respect the number of guests in professions that require significant lead time in order to request time off. At the latest, please RSVP by Early Winter 2022. If you have not responded by that time without contacting the Maid of Honor regarding any special circumstances, it will be assumed that you will NOT be attending.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

This event is strictly RSVP only. The Bride and Groom have taken significant others into account when sending out invites and planned the event accordingly. If you would still like to inquire about bringing an additional guest, please contact the Maid of Honor.

Question

The RSVP didn't ask for my Food Preference! What are we eating?

Answer

Dinner will be served Family Style! This means that all options for sides and entrees will be on platters at every table. You can mix-and-match whatever fits your palate or dietary restrictions as desired. Steps have already been taken to eliminate the presence of any and all nuts in the appetizers, dinner foods, and desserts so rest assured those with nut-allergies will not have to worry. If you have significantly restrictive dietary needs (such as needing to avoid even the smallest interaction with a specific allergen) and would like a specific plate prepared for you, please contact the Maid of Honor and we will arrange a special plate with the venue. This is available on a very limited basis, so please be mindful.

What is "Themed Formal"?

Answer

Our wedding is themed after the video game franchise Kingdom Hearts. Guests are encouraged to participate in the theme by coordinating their outfit with the **color scheme** and **style** of a character from the franchise while still dressing formally. For example, a "Cheshire Cat"-inspired outfit could be a suit or dress that includes pink and purple stripes. Please avoid wearing **white or light blue** too prominently if at all.

I want my outfit to be inspired by a character, but I don't know what my options are!

The Kingdom Hearts franchise includes a wide array of characters from Square Enix, Disney, and Pixar including but not limited to: Aladdin Alice in Wonderland Beauty and the Beast Big Hero 6 Cinderella Fantasia Final Fantasy Frozen Hercules Hunchback of Notre Dame Lilo & Stitch Lion King Little Mermaid Monsters' INC. Mulan Musketeers Nightmare before Christmas Peter Pan Pinocchio Pirates of the Caribbean Sleeping Beauty Snow White Steamboat Willie Tangled Tarzan Toy Story Tron Winnie the Pooh Wreck-it Ralph Clothing and/or accessories from the Loungefly or Her Universe brands are fantastic choices.

Can I get you a gift not on your registry?

Answer

You don't have to get a gift at all! However, if something not on our list really calls to you as something you want to give, we will have a gift table at the reception for such items. If you need to ship the item, please contact R.A. for our address.
