Y'all ready for this?

It all started on a dating app (shoutout to ✨Hinge✨). Alex was adorable and Bethany was bad at messaging on the app. We finally met up at Axelrad for our first date😍 We talked for just shy of 85 hours and secretly decided we were in love. Jump to the pandemic, protests for racial equality and generous portions of trauma bonding - we were in it deep. We survived the Houston snowpocalypse after moving in together literally 12 hours earlier, leveled up our super-team powers and haven’t stopped since.

We both picked out our rings and daydreamed about how to plan the most adorable proposals for each other. But reality was a liiiiiittle bit different: Alex proposed to Bethany at our apartment while watching a movie and eating Taco Bell. Sitting across the couch with the dogs and crunch wrap supremes, Alex knew this is where she wanted to be for the rest of her life. Bethany had an elaborate set up for Alex to greet her when she came home from a business trip. Bethany had to go to work before Alex got home so Alex FaceTimed her when she arrived. Bethany got to jointly propose to her with the twins that she nannies. We love our real life stories & magic🌈✨
