To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "will attend" or "will not attend". Please RSVP before November 1, 2024. All RSVPs received after this date will be marked as declining; we will be sending a final headcount to our vendors following this deadline. Thank you in advance for being mindful of this!
If your guest's name is listed on your invite and when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends. Thank you for understanding!
You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "will not attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "will attend", but find that you will not make it, please notify us at theclauswedding@gmail.com as soon as you are aware.
We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting that all of our guests dress in formal attire. The ceremony and reception will be indoors but there is a garden area at the reception for guests who want to spend some time outside, weather permitting.
All of our beautiful bridesmaid will be wearing an emerald green.
The ceremony will begin punctually at 1:30 pm, please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to park and find a seat. Please fill up the seats on either side!
Yes, there will be parking at both the ceremony and the reception. For the ceremony at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, there is parking located behind the basilica via Prospect Street. There is also a Municipal parking lot across from the basilica parking lot that is free on weekends. For the reception, Aria Wedding & Banquet Facility has a large parking lot on sight.
Yes, there will be a shuttle service from the reception venue to the hotel roundtrip. More details to come on the frequency of this service.
In order for our guests to be fully present with us during one of the most special moments of our lives, we are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos and videos during our church ceremony. We have amazing photographers and videographers that will be working hard to capture every moment. We will, of course, share our photos with you afterwards. After the church ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day and encourage you to snap away!
Yes, we are having a premium open bar. There will be a wide selection of options for you to choose from. Please support our hardworking bar staff who will ensure that we enjoy the night. We can't wait to see you on the dance floor!
Yes, we have two room blocks at the Courtyard by Marriott in Southington, CT and Homewood Suites by Hilton in Southington, CT. These two hotels are directly across the street from each other. Please book at least one month in advance.
Due to the timing of our ceremony, there is a small hour and a half gap between the ceremony and the reception. We do not have any scheduled events during this time. There is lots to explore locally (check out our "Things To Do" tab) or guests staying in a hotel are encouraged to check-in to their room at this time.
Our wedding venue has a strict food and alcohol policy. No outside food or alcohol is allowed to be brought onto the premises nor allowed to leave the premises. Aria has a no shots policy. Thank you in advance for being mindful of these regulations.
