Courtney Hart

Matron of Honor

I first met Miss Summers about 2012 & immediately knew she was the perfect match for Andy. There was something about them together that I saw, an energy, that told me she would be in our lives forever. Mr Ouano is from SoCal & literally found the needle in the haystack in tiny Quincy IL with this beautiful small town girl. He is a great man, brother & son, & deserved an equally beautiful soul to match his own. I am honored to stand beside her on their wedding day & witness them exchange vows of forever. I knew from day one they would share a lifetime together, & what a beautiful life it will be. "It was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul." Judy Garland.

Bridesmaid

Kristen and I met through Andy, who is my fiance's younger brother. My favorite memory of us was when I took her to Laguna Beach for the first time! I remember laughing at all of her stories, as well as curiously learning more about her and how she was adapting to the SoCal life. Her experiences and personality truly lights up a room, and she is definitely the most bubbly person I know! To Andy and Kristen- your love has no boundaries. You've proven how dedicated, loyal and strong your relationship is, especially with all of the challenges you've encountered in such a short amount of time. You can overcome anything, and always look to each other for strength and support. You guys are solid as a rock, and I can't wait to celebrate your special day with you both!

Andrea Loster

Bridesmaid

Kristen and I met back in 2011, as freshman at Quincy University. She was on the dance team and I was a cheerleader, and we both had platinum blonde hair. So naturally, we were bound to be besties. Over the years our friendship has gotten stronger and stronger. We are truly always there for each other, even if we are states apart. I admire the loving relationship Andy and Kristen share. Always keep your fun and passionate relationship as filled with love as it is my friends and you are sure to flourish in the married life. Love you guys!

Ally Becker

Bridesmaid

Kristen and I met at Quincy University. We lived right down the hall from each other. We had friend dates, heart to hearts, and our friendship just took off! She was my glam person for Homecoming and helped make me one of the most beautiful homecoming queens ever; bringing my inside to the outside! I’ll always remember our girls weekend with Andrea in Chicago! The whole weekend was a blast. Too many memories to write them all.. but it felt just like college. I know we’ll always have this strong bond. I will leave my best friend and the love of her life with this advise; remember even if you’re married doesn’t mean you stop dating each other! I’m so happy you found your way back to each other. The next chapter of your love story is just beginning! Can’t wait to see where it goes! Love Ally

Bridesmaid

Kristen and I met through our significant others’. We became close after many fun trips together. One of my favorite memories of Kristen and I happened recently; Kory and I were in LA visiting and while the boys went to a Lakers game, Kristen and I hung out, talked and ordered in a ridiculous amount of Thai food and cookies! My piece of advice for Kristen and Andy for is: Always say that you’re sorry, even if you are right. There is a well-known quote out there stating “love means never having to say you’re sorry”, but I think that love means saying sorry even if you think you shouldn’t have to. Nothing brings reconciliation faster than humility and nothing softens a hardened heart like taking your share of the blame. I love you guys and I am so excited to be part of your special day!

Colette Kelfer

Bridesmaid

Although Kristen and I originally met through our boyfriends, we instantly bonded over our love of teaching. While the boys droned on about who scored a touchdown or who threw a great pass, we chatted about who scored Student of the Month or who threw my hall pass in the toilet. Whether we are baking cookies, drooling over Lady Gaga, or playing with puppies, we always have a good time! My piece of advice for Kristen and Andy is this: Model the kind of relationship that you want and expect for your future children. Kristen - I’m so grateful for your friendship, and so happy you found Andy. Cheers!

Cortney Steffensmeier

Bridesmaid

Oh my gosh! I’m not too sure where to start! Kristen & I have grown from knowing each other in grade school to becoming best friends in high school! From eating donuts off a string with our hands behind our backs at her 13th birthday party, to having a girls road trip to finding that perfect prom dress our senior year! Kristen & I’s high school dance team is what brought our friendship even closer! I love Kristen’s spunkiness & she sure does know how to have a good time! She has you smiling & laughing until you cannot breathe! We have definitely lived some good stories! Good friends are like stars. You don’t always see them, but you know they’re always there! - it’s always important to know that, especially miles apart!

Bridesmaid

Kristen and I go back. And by back, I mean way back! Much of our childhood was spent staying up way too late at sleepovers, making up dances in her parents’ basement. Somehow we survived high school and all the crazy nights we were up to no good. We’ve been through a lot together: growing up, graduating high school and college, becoming teachers, getting engaged a month apart, and now getting married a month apart! I could go on and on about all of our “Remember when..” moments but 800 characters wouldn’t be nearly enough to recap our lives together! I’m so excited to be by Kristen’s side as she says “I Do!” to the love of her life. I can’t wait to see where married life takes Kristen and Andy!

Best Man

I met Andy in 6th grade- 2001 at Lawrence Middle School! At first, I did not like Andy because the girl that I liked in 6th grade (Jocelyn Watts) liked him. Once I met Andy, I understood why. (No homo). Ever since that moment in the 6th grade, I have been Andy’s best friend. In fact, when we were in 7th grade,we promised each other that we would be each other’s best men when we grew up and got married. I couldn’t be more happy to call someone my best friend. We have experienced just about ever aspect of life together, and now, he gets to marry the woman of his dreams, and I am honored to share this day with you.

Thomas ‘Tbone’ Franco

Best Man

I owe my friendship with Andy to Mrs. Faucheux, who sat me next to him on my first day at Lawrence Middle School. What may have just seemed like a random seat assignment to her, was actually the beginning of a lifelong brotherhood. From pranking in middle school to playing volleyball in high school; from working at Aerotek to living together; from celebrating accomplishments to comforting each other in times of grief – Andy has always been there. Congratulations, Gurt. You deserve the best.

I met Andy back in 1990. We actually lived together, with a few other people. He was a pretty sensitive guy. He cried not infrequently then — even with the smallest bit of stress in his life. Kyle actually lived with us too. Kyle and I showed Andy the ropes, all the important things in life. We showed him what T.V. shows to watch (Batman), what video games to play (Mario), and where the good places to eat were (Denny’s). Andy learned everything he knows about girls from Kyle and I, of course. He picked things up pretty quickly, and was successful in dating in his younger days. But now it seems that the student has surpassed the teachers. He has successfully courted Kristen, which took the accumulated years of everything Kyle and I taught him throughout his life. You’re welcome, Andy.

Thinking about my bro getting married makes me think about how far we've come. My fondest memories with Andy are the summer days back when we lived on Rayen Street. Most days consisted of swimming in the pool all day with Kris, neighbors, our dogs, and sometimes Goey watching us. When we weren't in the pool we were taking turns playing Starcraft, or if we were hungry we were down at Denny's on topanga with our dad. And it wouldn't be a weekend unless we were causing mischief at night playing Vision in the cul-de-sac. It seems like the circle of life, now we're grown and both getting married, we'll be watching our kids doing those things.

Extremely happy for my brother and looking forward to his big day. Andy has always been there for me no matter what I was going through. I wouldn’t be where I am today if he didn’t get me into playing sports. He’s taught me so much and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without him

Andy is the closest thing to a brother that I’ll ever have. Kristen’s love is so absolute that I take comfort in knowing he’s in great hands.

GERSON! Never in my life would I have thought a man named Gerson could impact my life in such a dynamic and altering manner. I met both Andy and Kristen at Quincy University and the forever infamous, 2024, with Alex and Ethan. One thing that I have always admired about Andy is how he was able to lift my confidence from the moment we met. Whether it is smashing volleyballs or taking naps, this man exudes confidence and passion. I have never seen someone love so hard, give his all, and maintain a balanced life. I have had the privilege to watch this relationship bloom since the moment Kristen and Andy met. What I have learned from them is this: Never give up in what your heart is telling you…pursue, fight, and love with all you have. They are my family for life, 2024!

ANDY AND I LIVED TOGETHER WITH KORY AND ALEX. 2024 CHESTNUT BROUGHT FOUR GUYS TOGETHER FROM DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE COUNTRY AND MADE US BROTHERS. ONE DAY ANDY WENT TO OUR NEIGHBORS HOUSE TO BORROW THE LAWN MOWER. SHORTLY AFTER ANDY GOT BACK I REALIZED HE DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO START IT. INSTEAD OF HELPING HIM, I CALLED KORY AND ALEX OUT TO THE PORCH. WE SAT THERE DYING IN LAUGHTER AS ANDYS FRUSTRATIONS BUILT TO THE BREAKING POINT. IN THAT MOMENT I KNEW THESE GUYS WOULD BE MY LIFE LONG BUDS. I REMEMBER WHEN ANDY MET KRISTEN, SHE HAD HIM HOOKED FROM DAY ONE. ONE THING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ANDY IT IS THAT HE LOVES HARD, HE IS VERY CONSISTANT AND HE GETS WHAT HE WANTS. HE IS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON AND HE RECEIVED A PERFECT MATCH FOR HIM IN KRISTEN. I LOVE YOU BOTH. LOVE FOREVER EAZY.

Andy & I both somehow landed in Quincy, IL from California. His first week in Quincy he posted on Facebook that he needed a ride to get some chapstick. It was way too cold to walk to Walgreens so I picked him up & the rest is history. He’s my brother and she’s my sister til the end. Andy & Kristen, remember where you came from, live in the present, and look forward to your bright and beautiful future together. Love you!

Andy and I met in the 4th grade. I was going door to door selling Pokémon cards in the neighborhood and found out that he lived 7 houses up the street from me. Ever since then we have been brothers. I have been very blessed to have a childhood friend like Andy to grow up with. Memories of basketball, carpooling, poker nights, egging, video games, parties, beach days, potzone, volleyball, golf and many more. I’ll remember and cherish these memories till the day that I develop dementia. I’m glad I was able to visit Andy when he was living in Quincy and meet the love of his life Kristen. I am honored to celebrate this special day with you guys and add another great memory for the books. Wishing you both a very happy and blessed married life; may all your ups & downs be between the Sheets.

Andy and I met at Chatsworth high school and right before senior year our friendship developed into the brotherhood we share today. Although we both ended up out of state for college we always found ways to stay connected throughout those years and enrich each other’s lives. We’ve built so many memories spanning from Andy getting me on the volleyball team in high school, countless trips to Vegas, intense 24hr fitness workouts, Hawaiian shirt Friday’s at Medtronic and several New Years celebrations in the Bay Area. Those memories are all great and I’m overjoyed to witness what I believe will be the best memory of them all when you walk down that aisle. Andy, I wish you and Kristen a healthy marriage and can’t wait to celebrate the monumental moment on July 13th. Love you bro! Cheers!

When I think about Andy I get reminded of volleyball open gyms, lupe fiasco’s food & liquor album on the way to club practices, two man sessions at the boat spot, and trips down Kanan rd. with Kong en route to party waves at Zuma beach with him and the boys! When it’s all said and done those memories be a foundation for what the future holds for us because experiences are valuable, but time spent is priceless. Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Ouano! Remember that from now on you two are a team, play to each others strengths, help each other make up for your weaknesses, and as selfless and giving as you both are, do not forget to take care of yourself because if you can not do that, you will not be able to take care of each other.

Andy I love ya man, we met back at Lawrence middle school and have been best friends ever since. I remember every Friday we would all go play a couple of pick up games of basketball and then go to your house to play poker because all of us had gambling problems at a young age. Then senior year, one of the best years of my life we would hit up party after party every weekend, we thought we were so popular because our phones would be blowing up from people trying to ask us where was the next big party at. Good times. I just want to say I’m so happy for you that you found the love of your life, it’s very rare to find someone that makes you happy as Kristen makes you so don’t screw it up! Congrats man from the bottom of my heart man Sincerely Andrew hunt
