We began as all couples do, as strangers in passing. An occasional "hello" and "see ya later" and frequent functions running into each other, seeing each other- but never really meeting. Little did we know, we were looking at our forever person. We made our real connection when we were both recovering from heartbreak. We bonded on long summer nights over beers, together on my tiny porch overlooking a busy street with the sound of passing cars accompanying our deep talks. For weeks we would meet and pour our feelings out, slowly gauging each other as the spark grew into a flame. We needed each other beyond the love that was secretly growing at the time. We helped each other through pain and struggles we couldn't tackle on our own and found safety in each other before anything else. Seven years later that sentiment has carried through the evolution of our relationship. To know you have your favorite person rooting for you is nothing short of a superpower. That when you've had a hard day you can come home and let go of everything. That's love. We're so excited to share one of the biggest moments of our lives with all of our favorite people. We have so many incredible friends and family in our support system that has helped us and pushed us in so many ways. Thank you for being there. Now let's get married!
