11/17/16: OK Cupid's arrow strikes Dedicatedguy82 sends Hunnyb21 a message and so it began... 11/22/2016: The First Date After multiple cancellations due to food poisoning (him) and a concussion (her), they finally meet in the small town of Sleepy Hollow for a nice night of dinner, drinks and conversation. 11/25/2016: The Foreshadowing Second Date In yet another small town of Westchester, they meet in a lovely cafe for some coffee, dessert, and more conversation. Little did they know, while they sat getting to know each other, the musician on his acoustic guitar plays the song that would one day be their first dance as a married couple.

4/7/2017: The Phone Call She was leaving for a road trip with her best friends. After a prolonged goodbye, they get into their respective cars. Within minutes, she calls him because she forgot to ask him something. They say goodbye again and as she moves her finger to the end call button she thinks hears a quick "I love you." Click. Wait a minute, did he just...? Yup, he said the words for the first time and she hung up on him. 5/2/2017: The Real "I Love You" Despite being hung up on after professing his love, he decided to stick around. Then one night in May while embracing, he says the words again and this time she says "I love you too!" Not forgetting the first time he said it he asks, "Why did you hang up on me when I said it before?" 6/22/2018: "When the time is right..." After a whirlwind year and a half of dates, vacations and wonderful memories, he decides it is time to take the next big step. With the blessing of her family and the help of some of her amazing friends, exactly 17 months after they first met, he got down on one knee at sunset on the beach in Curacao and popped the question. She said yes! :0)
