Blue Springs State Park
17 minute drive from Historic Downtown Deland area One of Florida's beautiful State parks where visitors can see wild manatees, many different types of fish, a variety of wading birds, ospreys, eagles and kingfishers. While hiking along the natural spring run or on the 4.5-mile Pine Island Trail. Visitors can also launch a canoe or kayak (rentals are available at the park) or take a guided river boat cruise.
Walt Disney World
Approximately 1 hour from Downtown Deland's Historic district. Disney world has much to offer with their many well known parks such as Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studios and more.
ICON Park
A free to enter park featuring 9 feature attractions, including a 400-foot observation wheel, a slingshot ride, a Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, and a Sea Life aquarium. Surrounded by many great dining options and a few shopping locations.
Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament
Located about an hour and ten minutes from Downtown Deland's Historic District. Inside a 11th century-style Castle themed around Medieval Spain. sit down for a performance of Jousting, horsemanship & falconry plus a 4-course, utensil-free meal served in a castle-like space. An incredibly entertaining experience!
