Estes Park
Estes Park is the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s truly beautiful and where Makayla fell in love with hiking. If you have time we would highly recommend going on a hike or even just drive through the park. You will not be disappointed P.S. The park gets very busy during the day so we recommend entering either before 10AM or after 4pm to avoid waiting in lines to get into the park.
Stanley Hotel
The Stanley Hotel is the inspiration for the Overlook Hotel in Stephen King’s The Shinning. You can stop to have a drink or even to just look around the hotel. If you’re brave, you can even rent a room there.
Horseback riding
There are plenty of companies, such as Sombrero, that offer horseback riding through the park and surrounding areas.
ATV rentals
There are several companies that allow you to rent ATVs near the park and explore trails.
Estes Park Trolleys
This company offers trolley rides through the park with tour guides if you don’t feel like driving through yourself.
Kirks Flyshop
This company offers numerous fly fishing guide packages in and around the park.
