It is generally recommended that a house plant be watered once or twice a week. Water just enough to moisten the soil, careful not to over water. Keep in mind this may be different for different plants, such as Aloe, which only needs watered about every three weeks.

Ocean quahog clams (oldest found was 507 years old) are thought to be the oldest living single organism. Sea Sponges are made up of colonies of identical organisms. Some Sea Sponges are found to be approximately 11,000 years old. There are other organisms, such as the Turritopsis dohrnii ("immortal jellyfish") and Hydra (group of invertebrates) that are believed to be immortal under the right conditions.

How is Almond Milk made?

Below is a recipe for making almond milk at home. It is surprisingly simple! 1) Soak 1 cup almonds in water for 8 - 48 hours (use enough water to cover almonds). 2) After soaking, separate water from almonds. 3) Place almonds and water in blender. For every 1 cup of almonds, use 4 cups of water. This recipe calls for 4 cups of water. 4) Add vanilla or dates for flavor. 5) Blend until light and frothy. 6) After blending, separate almond milk from almond pulp using cheese cloth and/or strainer. 7) Enjoy! This stores in the fridge for 3 - 5 days.
