This is a story of two nerds, one dating app, and no distance filters on who they would talk to. Oz was cautious of the lack of photos on Michelle's dating profile, but intrigued by the amount of sarcasm her profile screamed. Michelle was skeptical of the notorious 'fish' picture. All it took was one brave first message from Oz to kick off what would be the best adventure yet. First Date - Michelle threatened that she rode a scooter around because she couldn't walk very well. (Scooter is now her nickname). To Oz's relief she was not riding a scooter but did give Oz a Ding Dong to break the ice. Two hours later the date went well so Michelle got a hug! ;) 2 hour drives became the new normal, with one or the other making the trek almost every weekend to visit and spend time together. While in Spokane doing fun things in the big city was on the docket. Good restaurants, good breweries, and socialization with friends. In Coulee, lake time was the way to go. Paddle boarding and since Oz likes to fish Michelle learned to fish again and caught the biggest bass for her first fish in the area (she still hasn't beat). While Covid was becoming a thing, Michelle was in Hawaii visiting friends and soaking up the sun. Michelle started to be worried about no toilet paper and no kitchen (being Remodeled) on the long layover from Hawaii. Oz made the offer that Michelle and Tucker should come stay for a couple weeks since he had plenty of toilet paper and a kitchen. Two weeks later after the trial run was a success, plans were made to begin living together! Here we are.....
