Marine Mammal Care Center
The Marine Mammal Care Center inspires ocean conservation through marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation, education, and research. Sign up for a tour and their docents will teach you a bit about conservation and then, you'll get to see the seals and sea lions that they are currently rehabilitating.

This is the best pizza in town, we love it here. Cash only and closed on Sundays!
CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles
Wonderful market featuring local artisans and craftspeople. We love the chips and salsa at Salsas Chigonas, the thicc cookies at Not Yo Granny's Cookies, and the jams at Opossum Provisions.
Wunderkammer
Attached to Crafted, Wunderkammer is an "emporium of the strange and wonderful." We love checking out the vendors in here. Great apparel from Calimucho too!
The Neon Sun
This is a fabulous community space and restaurant. They've got an eclectic menu, including delicious scallops and a vegan sloppy joe we love.
Colossus
This is our favorite coffee shop in town. They have two locations: this one and one on Harbor St. Their coffee is delicious, and their croissants are out of this world. You can even get a sourdough pizza for dinner at the Harbor location.
Cabrillo Marine Aquarium
This is our local aquarium located at Cabrillo Beach. There's free admission, and you can learn all about grunions. Plus, there's a cute gift shop!
Senfuku Japanese Restaurant
If you're up for an experience, go to Senfuku on a Friday night and ask for Pauley. He's our neighbor, and he's the best. He'll make great recommendations and make you some of his famous green tea ice cream. It's delicious!
The Chori-Man
This is home to some of the best breakfast burritos in Los Angeles. We'll be ordering from here for the farewell gathering on Sunday. Definitely recommend their vegan soyrizo and their green chile pork.
