What is the weather like?

Answer

We strongly recommend bringing a jacket or sweater for the evenings, as it gets pretty chilly! The wedding is outdoors, so make sure to bring an extra layer. You’ll likely have nice sunny swimming weather during the days and chilly mountain evenings.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We blocked off the entire Capri Hotel, but please reserve your room early if you'd like to stay on the property. Unfortunately, there are only 30 rooms, so if you miss a room at the Capri, check out the other hotel / Airbnb rentals nearby.

How do I get to Ojai from LA?

Answer

The best way is to rent a car or take an Uber (likely about $150 each way). It's a 1 - 1.5 hour drive from LA to Ojai, depending on traffic, but it's a beautiful drive! We recommend taking the scenic route along the Pacific Coast Highway so you can go through Malibu and see the ocean.

What's the food situation?

Answer

We'll have an open bar with snacks/drinks on Friday night, then dinner from our friends at Pinyon for the wedding on Saturday. Expect lots of wood-fired veggies, oysters, local fish, roasted meats, and some veggie-centric vegan options. Before heading out on Sunday, please join us for bagels and coffee from Pinyon in the Capri lobby. You're free to do as you please for dinner Friday and breakfast/lunch on Saturday, so we hope you'll explore the great restaurants in Ojai! We've recommended our favorites in the "Things to Do" tab.
