After a long day of work meetings, Stephanie stopped in to the Cadieux Cafe where Rob had just himself finished a work meeting. Three hours and many cat stories later, the connection was instant. After a few days, they went on their first date, a night on the town in Grosse Pointe Park, ending of course watching Harry Potter.

Steph came home from work, mildly stressed with the usual holiday chaos, and decided she needed some Christmas cheer before finishing up some work on her computer for the night. While she was standing on a ladder hanging up their cats stockings, Rob was lingering behind her, handing her tacks as she hung each stocking. As she finished, he mentioned she needed just one more tack. To her confusion and surprise, she turned around to find him with not only a tack, but a beautiful ring in hand! He asked the question, and she said “Absolutely!” The stockings hung and the adventure begins…
