Jackie

Jackie and Ben met at Indiana University their freshman year. Jackie was so excited to see Ben in her English class that she fell off of her chair. After Ben starting dating Katy, he introduced her to Jackie who then assisted Katy to get a job at DaVita. Over time, Katy then transitioned to UCLA- and convinced Jackie to come along with her! The three of them have been inseparable ever since!

Haley

Matron of Honor

Katy has known Haley her entire life, as their mothers were friends from work beginning in the early 80s. Both Susan (Haley's mother) and May (Katy's mother) were single mothers with one daughter each, and they would all get together for holidays and vacations. Of note, the foursome have traveled to France, Lake Arrowhead, the Grand Canyon, Sedona, New York, and Michigan. Haley is the sister Katy never asked for, but is so incredibly grateful to have. She would be lost without her dear sweet Haley.

Kimi

Bridesmaid

Kimi and Katy met when they were introduced by a mutual friend in high school. Katy, a baby freshman, was in awe of Kimi because she jived so well with all of the cool orchestra kids from Santa Monica High School. It wasn't until the two reunited some ten years later that they reconnected, and have been besties ever since.

Kimi is the ray of sunshine Katy didn't even know she needed. The two met through another bridesmaid- Sarah- and hit it off immediately. Maybe its that Pisces energy, or maybe its two comedians who met each other's match. She brings so much joy, laughter, and love to every interaction, and has been a constant source of support.

Sarah

Katy and Sarah met when Katy was living with a crazy Craigslist roommate who ended up running around in public without any pants on. But that story is for another time. Sarah and Katy first connected in passing, then ran into each other at the Whaler whereupon they concluded that they’d be friends for life. Sarah has consistently gone above and beyond throughout their friendship- including hosting Katy's baby shower. Everyone wants to have a friend like Sarah.

Neda

Bridesmaid

Neda makes Katy laugh harder than anyone else. When the two are together, chaos ensues filled with loud belly laughs, and screaming voices. Neda was the last one of a friend group to meet Katy, which they both find so strange because the two are so alike in many ways. One of Katy's favorite memories with Neda is when the two went to Bozeman, MT and hit the slopes. She is the greatest ski bunny in all of the land.
