We're getting married!

Before we met, we were both very much ready to stay single. Stephanie was just finishing college and was focused on the future of her career and the excitement of life. I, Oscar, was just starting medical school and was focused on just surviving school. God must have looked at both of our plans and laughed a little because what He had in store for us was so much larger than what we had ever expected. We both met at Church while attending our young adult's ministry. That's the first time I saw Stephanie. She was smiling, laughing, and full of joy. We bumped into each other a couple of times at Church and I always had my eye on Stephanie. I couldn't stop thinking about how impressive her love for God was and how gorgeous she was. Stephanie even jokes how she saw me at church on several occasions and thought, "oh, he's really cute". Things started to change when I joined Stephanie's small group. From there we began to have closer conversations and got to know about God and each other. What I found was that the more I got to know Stephanie, the more I wanted to get to know her. Several months later, I asked her out in the same room we met (and the same room I'd eventually ask her to be my wife).
