Shannon is Lauren’s younger sister, and their bond has always been something truly special. From childhood memories to heartfelt late-night talks, they’ve shared so many meaningful moments over the years. She feels that being apart of this next chapter in Lauren’s life is such an honor, and Shannon feels incredibly lucky to stand by her side as a bridesmaid. She can’t wait to celebrate the love between Lauren and Oscar and soak in every moment of this beautiful day. She is currently living in Boston with her husband and dog Benny. She's the trendiest girl around and Lauren wears a lot of her hand me downs. Meet my little sister, Shannon Nobles!

Pearl is Oscar’s niece and feels honored to be a part of one of the most special days of her uncle’s life. Her uncle is very dear to her heart. Seasons of life go by and he remains present and supportive in her life. Pearl is excited to see what God has in store for her uncle and his wife. Marriage is divine and sanctified before the Lord and to see her uncle walk into this covenant is a beautiful thing. May Jesus Christ bless this marriage and may they dedicate their marriage and life to Him. Pearl prays they would acknowledge God in all their ways, that He would make their path straight !

Henry is so happy to be a part of Oscar's and Lauren's special day. He grew up in the Midwest and made my way to San Diego back in 1997. He has been married to Bridget Kaluzny for over the last 15 years and we have a 14 year old boy (Tai). A man of many trades, he has been a food scientist, tech support, finish carpenter, and lastly been a software QA engineer (which he has in common with Oscar). He knows Oscar through Flood church's weekly men's community group. He really appreciates Oscar's participation, vulnerability, and the growth he have seen through God's grace in his life. He believes He sent Lauren to Oscar to share God's love and now they are a blessing to each other.

Anna Eggler

Anna met Lauren at the ministry school Impact 195 in San Diego, several years ago. Since then, their friendship has been growing and deepening through many seasons of life. Anna has always been inspired by Lauren’s kindness, servant heart, faith, and tenacity she faces life with. Anna currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Josh, and son, Shepherd (who also happens to be the ring bearer)! She also has 2 crazy pugs. Anna is a stay at home mom, but was formally a hospital chaplain. She loves all things food, music and outdoor adventures. You can be sure she will be tearing up the dance floor on the wedding day!

Oscar and Tyler first met in the summer of 2018 through work, and  quickly hit it off. One of Tyler’s favorite memories is when Tyler, Oscar and Matt took a “work” trip up the West Coast in 2019—an unforgettable drive full of great conversations and even better views. Oscar later stood by Tyler at his wedding, and over the years, Oscar made a few summer trips out to Wisconsin where the two hung out, golfed a ton, and just enjoyed the kind of easy, genuine friendship that’s hard to come by. Oscar’s a good person, incredibly talented, and a truly solid friend. Tyler is very glad Oscar found Lauren and is excited to watch their love blossom.

Marissa Koeller

Marissa is a true California girl at heart- soaking up all the sunshine she can, chasing after waterfront hang outs, with an iced coffee in hand! You'll likely find her spending quality time with her besties or deep in a book studying for her Masters of Divinity. Marissa and Lauren met in 2020 while living in NYC, they became close friends through their church Mission City and distance has only made their hearts fonder as they keep their long distance friendship alive! They are thankful to God for the many opportunities they have had to see each other this year. Lauren and Oscar are where they are today due to the edification and encouragement of Marissa in her friendship with Lauren...Meet Marissa!

Gabe Carlson

Gabe is a fascinating mix of tech enthusiast and true adventurous spirit. Not only does he love exploring the skies with his latest FPV drone build, but he also enjoys the thrill of skydiving! You can often find him immersed in the world of 3D printing or tinkering with his computer, showcasing his curious mind and passion for learning. Beyond his tech interests, Gabe has also joined Oscar and Lauren in impactful experiences building homes in Mexico and traveling to Malawi, Africa. He's always up for a new challenge – especially if it involves innovation or experiencing the world alongside friends. He's incredibly excited to embark on this new adventure with his beloved Crystal!

Rachel Schimdt

Rachel and Lauren grew up across the street from one another, and has seen Lauren through many trials and triumphs in life. Knowing each other for about 25 years, there is a level of friendship that can't quite be put into words. She currently lives in Seattle, and rocks the world through music and/or one or multiple of her other passions and talents...meet Rachel!!

Matt met Oscar when Oscar was interviewing for an SDET role at Soci, and they've been close ever since. Their friendship deepened while working remotely under a memorably terrible boss named Pickle at Northwestern Mutual. From battling bugs to bonding over cold brews at San Diego coffee shops-and even road-tripping the West Coast together-they've shared a lot. Oscar luckily stayed in San Diego and is now thriving, largely due to Matt's excellent mentorship (according to Matt, anyway).

Jenny Kingston

Jenny loves cats, plants and kangaroo rats. She loves relaxing at home with her two cats and partner, preferably while reading literary books or watching shows, and drinking several pots of hot tea. Outside, Jenny loves going to the movies, taking long walks in the sun, and attending Beyonce or indie pop concerts. As a wildlife biologist, she is ready to give you unsolicited fun facts about pocket mice and kangaroo rats. Jenny met Lauren as biology transfer students to UCSD, where they quickly became close friends and roommates the following year. She will never forget their times having pajama dance parties, grabbing dining hall burritos, or hikes to sunset cliffs.
