In high school, we somehow managed to know the same people, but not each other. After a few years, we reconnected and went to go see a movie together. From there, we got drinks and talked for hours. He asked me if I watched Atlanta, I lied and said I did. I didn't understand why a margarita came with two stirring straws, he went along with it so I didn't feel silly. We clicked instantly, made each other laugh endlessly, and we both went home thinking that we were going to marry each other one day. Looks like we were both right!

We've built an amazing life together so far. We have our house, our pets, and our great group of friends and family. We both push each other to work on our goals, have the same outlook on life, and actually can't get enough of each other. I know a lot of people say it, but we really are each others best friends. Every day that we're together, we're laughing and having fun - even on the stressful days, like when we play too much Mario Kart and get extremely competitive!
