We worked at the same company (shout-out to Favor Delivery). When I first moved to Austin, TX I didn't have a car, so I mainly commuted around town by bus. I was starting a new "big girl" job, and Oscar asked me if I wanted a ride from the office. At first I was really hesitant, because the last thing I wanted on my plate was to meet a boy and get involved in any way. However, Oscar truly was just being a friendly person by offering (because that's just who he is). So I agreed! He drove and we talked the whole ride home. Then a few more. We eventually became best friends. And well, the rest is sort of history. Here we are 5+ years later!

Trabajábamos en la misma empresa (se llama Favor Delivery). Cuando me mudé por primera vez a Austin, TX, no tenía automóvil, así que yo viajaba por la ciudad en autobús. Estaba comenzando un nuevo trabajo y Oscar me preguntó si quería que me llevara de la oficina a mi casa. Al principio no quería, porque lo último que quería era involucrarme románticamente con un hombre durante esa época de mi vida. Pero Oscar realmente solo estaba siendo una persona amigable al ofrecer (porque así es él). Así que acepté! El condujo y hablamos. Luego algunos viajes más. Eventualmente nos hicimos mejores amigos. Y bueno, el resto es historia. Aquí estamos más de 5 años+ después!
