FAQs

Question

How soon should I RSVP?

Answer

We collected RSVPs early since this is a smaller destination wedding and the Esperanza requires a minimum guest count. If you’ve RSVP’d yes but something comes up and you can’t attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the welcome party, think Cabo cocktail: cocktail or elevated maxi dresses, or fun two-pieces for women; and slacks and a button down for men (no jackets necessary!) For the wedding, the dress code is Beach Black Tie: Women: Floor-length gowns. Tropical colors, fun textures, ruffles, or sequins are welcome. Men: Suits or tuxes with a tie or bow tie. Summer colors and linen encouraged. Feel free to have fun with it! Ceremony is on the sand, so plan shoes accordingly. We will have an area for women to leave their heels. See the Attire Inspo section of our website.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! The wedding will take place at Esperanza, which is about 10 minutes from downtown Cabo. The welcome party, on the other hand, will be right in the heart of downtown Cabo, close to lots of restaurants, bars, and nightlife - so you’ve got options depending on the vibe you’re going for. There’s a great mix of hotels, Airbnbs, and all-inclusive resorts across different price points. We’ve listed some of our top recommendations under the Travel tab, so feel free to check those out to find what works best for you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re planning a small, intimate celebration with our close friends and family. If you’ve been allotted a plus one, their name will be included on the RSVP on the website, along with the invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’re keeping the celebration adults-only and we hope this can be a little getaway for the grown-ups, and we so appreciate you making the trip to celebrate with us!

Question

How can I get around?

Answer

Uber is an easy, safe and widely available option for getting around the city, and it worked well for us on multiple site visits and family trips. And when you’re moving between hotels, the front desk can call a taxi or car for you, which is also straightforward and safe. If you’d like something even more convenient, you can arrange a private car service through the hotel for airport transfers or other rides.

Question

Will there be provided transportation?

Answer

For guests staying at the Esperanza and ME Cabo, we will provide organized transportation to and from the Welcome party and Wedding. Because friends and family have chosen a wide range of Cabo hotels so far, we are not able to organize shuttle or private transportation from other hotels. If you have any questions about logistics or need extra help planning rides, feel free to reach out to us or to the hotel.
