Oscar reached out to Carissa on Instagram after viewing her profile. After messaging back and forth for a couple weeks, Oscar asked Carissa if she would go on a date to officially meet in person. When Oscar saw her for the first time his heart decided she was the one. On the second date, Oscar looked at Carissa and with heartfelt emotion said, "We're going to get married." Crazy to say on our four-year anniversary, that is finally happening and we're engaged!

On our 4 year anniversary, Oscar planned the proposal of Carissa's dreams. With months of preparation, Oscar had booked a private helicopter tour with a professional photographer on a rooftop overseeing Los Angeles. The day of, Carissa kept asking questions such as "Where are we going?!" or "Are we getting on a plane?" After realizing it was a helicopter ride, Carissa was so excited as she still wasn't sure where it was going to land or when Oscar would pop the question. After flying over Los Angeles and Santa Monica, the ride comes to an end when the plane lands on a rooftop with an amazing view of the city. After landing, the PiIot bolts out of the area completely. As we get off the helicopter, Oscar grabs Carissa by the shoulder saying "Happy Anniversary Baby, I love so much, and I have one question to ask you..." As he gets down on one knee Oscar asks the question Carissa has been preparing all day to hear, "Will you marry me?" Carissa says "Yes!" Meanwhile, the pilot was setting up a romantic dinner in celebration of the proposal. We celebrated our engagement while embracing the start of our new beginning full of love and excitement!
