FAQs

If you have any other questions that aren’t answered here, please feel free to reach out to me, Angela, at (928) 503-1826.
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 10th, 2025. We kindly ask that you respond by this date so we can finalize our guest list and share accurate details with our venue. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with all our favorite people, but we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. If your invitation says “and guest,” you’re welcome to bring one! Please make sure to include their name when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guest?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Hilton San Diego Mission Valley, which is only 7 minutes away from the venue. You can book at the discounted rate by using the link on our Travel & Accommodations page or by calling the hotel directly and mentioning the Saenz Wedding with group code (502) and Hotel code (SANMVHF). We recommend booking your room by December 30th, 2025 to ensure availability.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking will be available at the DMV lot, located at 3960 Normal St, San Diego, CA 92103. The lot is open for public use on weekends and it’s just a short walk to the venue entrance. Street parking is also available nearby, but spaces can be limited. If you’re able, we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to make things easier.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to dress in semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, dress shirts with slacks, or suits. Since the wedding is in January, we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap in case it gets chilly. We want everyone to feel comfortable while still looking stylish for the celebration!

Question

What color is the wedding party wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids and the wedding party will be wearing emerald green, and our wedding colors are emerald green, gold, white, and black. I kindly ask that guests avoid wearing emerald green or gold, since those are reserved for the wedding party and our parents. And please, no white that one’s mine! I’ve waited a long time to wear it, and I plan to fully enjoy my main-character moment. You’re absolutely welcome to wear black, especially if you mix it with other colors or fun accessories. Thank you for helping us keep the focus (and the photos) looking amazing!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating. We’ll start promptly and don’t want you to miss a moment!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for you to be fully present during the ceremony (our photographer’s got it covered). Once we say ‘I do,’ snap away at the reception!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ll be celebrating with only our children and immediate family this time around. Trust us, that’s already a lot of kiddos! We hope you can enjoy a fun night out with us while the babysitters hold down the fort.

Question

I have dietary restrictions. What should I do?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any allergies or dietary needs. We’ll do our best to make sure there’s something delicious for you!

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your love and presence truly mean the world to us, and that’s the best gift we could ask for. If you’d still like to give something, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund to help us kick off married life with an adventure! You can find the details on our Registry page.

Question

Is there an after-party?

Answer

Oh, absolutely! After the reception, we’ll be heading to a bar or club nearby to keep the fun going. Everyone’s invited to join us for a drink (or a few), more dancing, and some unforgettable late-night memories. We’ll share the exact location closer to the big day, so stay tuned and save a little energy for round two.
