We're Getting Married...

It all started over Memorial Day Weekend in 2018, at a backyard party that neither of them technically were supposed to be at. Lauren was visiting friends in Chicago, and Patrick just so happened to be in the same friend group as Lauren’s best friend’s college roommate (still with us?). That twist of fate—and one very well-timed house party—changed everything. Now, Patrick may deny this, but word on the street is that he asked Lauren’s friend if she was single. Her friend told him, “Yes, go for it.” So he did. For the next six months, they kept in touch while Lauren was still living in Missouri. Long-distance chats turned into something more, and in November 2018, Patrick finally asked Lauren to be his girlfriend. The years that followed were full of love and laughter. In July 2021, they bought their first home together in Mount Greenwood, and in December 2024—on a day they'll never forget—Lauren said yes to forever. Now we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you.
