Yes. There are multiple lodging options in the immediate area, and we have room blocks at three different locations. Please see the "lodging" tab above for more information.
Question
Is your Saturday, July 25, 2020 wedding still happening?
Answer
N0. Due to COVID-19, we have made the decision to postpone our wedding until Friday, August 6, 2021 so we can celebrate and enjoy the day safely with all of you!
Question
I already booked my lodging for your 2020 wedding through your lodging block, should I cancel my reservation?
Answer
NO. Please hold onto your existing reservation until the new lodging block has been created. Once Waterville confirms the new block, they will transfer guests into matching rooms for the new dates depending on room availability. Guests that they are able to move into the new block will receive a confirmation of their new reservation and the ones that they were not able to fit into the block will receive a cancellation notice and a full refund, after which they can call in to make a new reservation. If anyone is unable to make the new dates, they can call to cancel their reservation for a full refund at any point. You can reach Waterville Valley Central Reservations team at 1-800-468-2553.
Question
I already booked my lodging for your 2020 wedding through a third party booking agent (such as Airbnb), should I cancel my reservation.
Answer
NO. Please reach out to your host and request that they transfer your deposit to our new 2021 dates. If you cancel and then later rebook, you may lose your deposit, depending who you booked through. We booked our stay through Airbnb and our host had no problem transferring our deposit to our new dates.
Question
I see your new 2021 wedding date is on a Friday. Should I come up the night before or the day of?
Answer
That's up to you! We would love for you to enjoy the weekend in Waterville with us and we will be there Thursday-Sunday. We will be hosting a welcome bonfire on Thursday, the night before the wedding, and you are more than welcome to join us. If you choose to come up on Friday and stay through Sunday, that is great too!
