Osayame and Henry's family began at the University of Illinois College of Law in her last year and his first year. After realizing they had 3 classes together, Henry and Osayame became friends who caught up between classes and shared meals at lunch breaks. Neither taking the step past friendship, they went their separate ways after graduation: Osayame moving to Miami and Henry moving to Indiana. After a year of friendship and staying in touch, they realized that there was always a connection between them. Osayame came to Henry when overwhelmed and needing consolation, and Henry found peace in her presence and in their almost daily conversations. Henry then took the bold step to travel to Miami to ask Osayame to be his girlfriend, to which she agreed. From there, the couple has moved from strength to strength and has decided to take the final step towards Holy Matrimony!
