WE’RE GETTING MARRIED

Zach and Kailey started texting each other through a dating app that continued through Facebook. Zach and Kailey decided to go on a date in December 2022. Zach and Kailey met for the first time at Big Red Treats in Grand Island. They instantly hit it off and spent the next few hours talking. Zach and Kailey continued going on dates but eventually decided that a friendship was better for the time being. Zach and Kailey continued a friendship for the next two years. They continued texting and would occasionally have dinner dates. In March 2024, Kailey moved to a rental house in Aurora. Zach helped her move and would occasionally help her if needed. One morning Kailey woke up to the sound of a chainsaw in the backyard. Kailey went outside and saw Zach cutting up a tree branch that had fallen down the day before from a storm. Zach cleaned up the branches and hauled them away. Zach continued these acts of kindness! Zach’s parents hosted their annual Copland party. Zach and Kailey both attended the party. Towards the end of the evening, Zach had expressed his growing feelings towards Kailey and wanted to pursue a relationship with her. Kailey did not pursue these feelings right away. Zach stayed persistent. Kailey eventually gave into the idea of a relationship. Zach and Kailey decided to pursue a relationship in August of 2024. They went on a date to Prairie Creek Winery in Central City. On the date they decided to pursue a relationship. Weeks later they traveled to rural Nebraska to meet their fur baby Zariah Ray. The two have created many memories together including purchasing their forever home, growing in their faith and creating a beautiful life in the town of Aurora.

This beautiful day was such a dream come true! Zach and Kailey had planned on taking some couples photos on their trip to Cabo, MX. They booked their session for 8:30 AM on the beach by the resort they were staying at. It was a hot one for sure that morning. Towards the end of the session the photographer told Kailey to walk down the beach and stop. Little did she know, Zach was behind her holding a ring he bought weeks prior to the trip. The photographer told Kailey to turn around to Zach. Kailey turned around and started to cry. Kailey said yes and hugged Zach! They both criend and hugged each other.
