It all began at Oktoberfest in 2022. Natalie was invited by a friend to a housewarming party for a guy she had never even met. She only knew that he went to Jenks and Oklahoma State University as well. (invisible string??) Little did she know, she was about to walk into the home of her future husband. A few weeks later, Natalie and Zach found themselves at a Turnpike Troubadours concert with a group of friends. They spent the night talking, laughing, and getting to know each other, and that’s when Natalie realized she had officially developed a crush. Not long after, they were both invited to the same Friendsgiving. In the group chat, Natalie casually mentioned she was gluten intolerant. When Zach arrived, he brought stuffing for everyone and a special gluten-free stuffing just for her. He brushed it off as “just being nice,” but Natalie knew better. That tiny act of thoughtfulness confirmed what she already felt: the spark was mutual. From there, the two became inseparable. From their first “official” date at Prhyme Steakhouse to cozy Andy’s Custard nights, every moment together just felt right. On February 5, 2023, at Cellar Dweller (iykyk), Zach officially asked Natalie to be his girlfriend and the rest was history. Over the next two years, they built a life full of love, laughter, road trips, countless concerts, a new home, and their beloved pup, JoJo. Then, on March 1, 2025, Natalie thought she was simply heading to dinner with her family to celebrate her sister Ashley’s birthday at the Tulsa Club Hotel.
