We're getting married!

Jack and Shannon first met during their sophomore year of high school. Although they shared a few classes, they didn’t spend much time together outside of school. When Shannon began researching colleges with strong nursing programs, she reached out to a few classmates for recommendations. Jack was the only one who suggested the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. After touring the campus, Shannon fell in love with it. Coincidentally, Jack had also chosen to attend Eau Claire. During their freshman and sophomore years of college, they found themselves in several of the same classes again, though they eventually changed majors. Shortly before junior year, they started spending more time together outside of class and began dating soon after. After about a year, they parted ways but reconnected three years later. They've now been together for four years, share a home, and are the proud parents of two beautiful rabbits.
