Travel Note
The only way to get to Capri is by boat. Once you are in Naples, you will need to take a taxi down to the port. You will ask the taxi to take you to either one of the below locations (depending on your preference and arrival time). 1) Molo Beverello–where you go on a hydrofoil (fast boat) approx. a 40-50 min ride into Capri. 2) Calata Porta di Massa–where you will go on a regular ferry approx. a 70-80 min ride into Capri. NOTES: **Be sure to pay close attention to what location the boat you are planning to take will be departing from. The location will vary depending on the time of the boat.** -After the 12:40pm boat, the next boat does not depart until 2:20pm. -The price for either location is around 20-30 euro. -The main difference is the travel time and size of the boats/port. -The hydrofoil is a faster, smaller boat, but note that it is also a busier option, especially during peak season.

For those that are not familiar with the island, it is split into two towns, Capri (middle of the island) and Anacapri (top of the island). Our ceremony and reception will take place in Anacapri, so if you prefer to be closest to these locations (and us!), we recommend basing your stay in Anacapri. Both Capri and Anacapri have wide selection of hotels and bed and breakfasts to accommodate your stay. Capri is very walkable, and most areas are easily accessible by foot, public transportation, or taxi. We are happy to assist with hotel or B&B recommendations, don’t hesitate to ask us!

Capri is largely car-free with cobblestone streets and stairs. We recommend packing light and bringing comfortable walking shoes. The local currency is the Euro (€). While many places accept credit cards, carrying some cash is helpful for taxis, ferries, and small shops. Please check with your mobile provider about international plans or consider using an international eSIM for coverage in Italy.
