Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love our little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #LOT23 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

While there is no dress code, the ceremony will be a semi casual/dressy casual/cocktail/casual event. The Reception is a formal event, but please feel free to come as you are.

What is the weather like in town at this time of the year?

Answer

In August in Raleigh/Cary, North Carolina, we usually have the weather averaging between 70-89F/ 21-31C.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The Ceremony will take place at our home church, Amplify Church at 2884 NC-42, Willow Spring, NC 27592 at 2pm on Aug 26, 2023, directly followed by a cocktail hour and dinner in the ballroom of Prestonwood Country Club at 300 Prestonwood Pkwy Cary, NC 27513 at 6 pm EST. Both locations are about 30-40min apart.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events, except for Sunday's barbecue, will be held indoors. Sunday Barbecue is held at a park

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the venue where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We will be hosting a barbecue on Sunday at North Cary Park. Please feel free to join.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to last 1 hour followed by the cocktail hour which should last about 1 hours. So if you are planning on attending the ceremony and cocktail hour, it is important to be on time so you do not miss it. The reception is scheduled to end by 12 midnight.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free parking for the ceremony and reception.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No, transportation will not be provided. However, we have included some car rental information under the "travel" tab of the website. Please feel free to take a look at few options we have included there.
