In 2016 both Orlando and I started working at Hy-Vee, Orlando as a cashier and I as a bagger. Every chance I got I would always try to bag for Orlando just so I would have an excuse to talk to him. Eventually as I graduated to becoming a cashier I would still try to work in the lane closest to Orlando so that I could talk to him in between customers. After what seemed like forever he finally asked me if I wanted to hang out when we got off of work that night and even though I had no idea what I was going to tell my dad I said yes. The time finally came for us to clock out so on the way to his car I quickly texted my dad to say I was helping stock the shelves to buy myself some time before I had to be home. (sorry dad) We then headed to Wendy's to get frosty's and french fries before heading back to the Hy-Vee parking lot to sit and talk while listening to Orlando's playlist of remix's. We went on to have many more after work "dates" but sadly it just wasn't our time yet. Fast forward to 2018 I had just moved back to Dubuque and had decided to post that I was home. Orlando decided to reach out and ask if I wanted to hang out and of course I said yes. He showed up to sit with me that same night while I finished painting my childhood bedroom and of course he laid it on thick the whole time. As cheesy as it was that night he made a comment about marrying me and I didn't believe him at the time but now almost four years later here we are. We've had to go through a lot to get here but finally we are here continuing our journey together with our beautiful baby girl. We hope to see you all for the wedding to help witness and celebrate with us our journey and our new beginning.
